Hisar

 Location
Known since ancient times, one of the biggest and modern Bulgarian spa resorts - Hissar is situated in the middle part of southern Bulgaria, which protects it from cold northern winds. The resort altitude is 364 m. Its fertile surroundings spread extensive gardens and vineyards, grows strawberries, cherries, apricots, peaches, apples and other fruits. Immersed in the greenery of the beautiful parks, the resort facilities are located in an ecologically, friendly environment.
Mineral water
On the territory of the resort gush 22 natural and drilling sources with total capacity of 46 l / sec, or about 4 million liters per day. The temperature of mineral water varies from 14 to 52 ° C.
Climate
The c;imate is submountain with a Mediterranean influence. The average annual temperature is 11,9 ° C, average in July  - 23 ° C, in January - plus 0,4 ° C, in spring – April, average temperature is 10 ° C and average autumn in October - 10,4 ° C, the summer is too warm to hot, winters are mild, spring comes early and autumn is long, warm and sunny.
Climatic indicators are particularly beneficial for certain diseases, which is taken into account in determining the basic medical profile of the resort, but considerably wider possibilities of healing mineral waters are listed as additional indications.
