Sandanski

 Location
 Known as one of the best spa resort Sandanski is situated at the foot of the Pirin Mountains, along the green banks of the river Sandanska Bistritsa (near the border of Greece and Yugoslavia). The resort altitude is 215-240 m. The city is connected by rail and bus lines with Sofia (150 km) and with those neighboring countries.
