 Location
 The resort is located in the geographical center of the country, 95 km northeast of Plovdiv, the railway and highway road from Sofia to the large Black Sea port city  Burgas. Situated in the beautiful and Rose valley between mountain ranges of the Balkan and Sredna Gora, where there are extensive gardens of blooming roses, from which is produced the famous beyond the borders of the country, precious rose oil. The resort extends to the left bank of the river Tunja, the waters of which formed one of the most beautiful and large dams in the country - Koprinka. Around the hot springs during archaeological excavations have been found remains of an ancient town, Roman baths and spa facilities, a large Christian church and other buildings.

Climate
The climate of Pavel Banya is temperate continental, with a height of 400 - 420 m above sea level. The average annual temperature is about 10,8 ° C, average temperature in January about minus 1 ° C and in July - about 22 ° C. Summer is not, quite warm to very hot, refreshed by mountain-valley wind, the water mass of the nearby lake Koprinka and the forest slopes of Sredna Gora. Winters are moderately cold, but do not feel so due to the poor windiness. Spring comes in the middle of March, a warm and sunny autumn lasts until about mid-November.
