 Location
The resort is located in the central middle part of South Bulgaria, 40 km south of Plovdiv and 38 km from the international mountain resort Plovdiv.Situated in a small gorge along the river Asenitsa among coniferous forest slopes of the Rodopi Mountain, at an altitude of 620-660 m above the sea level. Around rise even higher  mountain chains covered with forest vegetation and alpine meadows, and the local landscape is varied with steep rocky massifs of the Alpine type. With surrounding cities is connected by bus lines, 22 km south of it lies is the Asenovgrad railway station, through which it connects with the whole country.
Mineral water
Spring from several natural and drilling sources, most of them are hypothermal (33 ° C), low mineralized (1.558 g / l), sulphate-hydrocarbonate-sodium, with a slight alkaline reaction (pH 7.3), with moderate water hardness (15.4 German degrees), clear, colorless, odorless and good taste quality.
Climate
The climate of the resort is low mountainous, continental with some Mediterranean influence. The average annual temperature is about 9,5 ° C, with an average January temperature minus 1 ° C and average July - 19 ° C. Summer is warm but not hot, winter is mostly mild to moderate cold, spring comes March 25, a warm and sunny autumn continues until around November 10.
