 Location
The biggest and most famous spa resort in northern Bulgaria, located 380 m above the sea level, at the foot of the forest northern slopes of Stara Planina, among a small valley along the river Botunya. Surrounded by vast meadows and orchards, in the resort itself is spread out a large (600 acres) picturesque forest park of pine trees and ornamental plants. It is connected with bus lines to Sofia (92 km) and railway lines surrounding cities near Vratsa, Berkovitsa, Bov.
